Dean's Message

Welcome to the School of Architecture, Industrial Design and the Built Environment (ARIDBE)! .

Developments in communications in recent decades have led to a "virtual" reduction in distances between countries. The world is shrinking, and designers in particular are being called to work more and more internationally. The School of ARIDBE provides cutting-edge education to enable our graduates to be globally competitive. Our faculty members are very competent and dedicated professionals who excel in molding the students into becoming innovative designers. The students do not only get the enhanced curricular programs but also the latest and relevant skills needed by the industry through their specialization tracks or professional electives. The school enjoys a well-developed collaboration with companies in the metro, and our architecture and design programs always attract many creative students.

We recognize that international experience is vital in a successful career that we encourage student and faculty exchange programs and research collaboration with partner universities. Our graduates then are very much in demand in the creative and construction industry, locally and abroad.
