Mapuans Clinches Awards in international Architecture Tilt
After months of preparation, Mapúa architecture students swept the awards at the 7th International Built Environment Undergraduate Research Competition (BEURC) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on December 14, 2022.
Securing a podium finish for the Philippines are Mapúans Alexandra Danielle C. Chua, Ysabel Louise R. Matienzo, Angelyn Beatriz B. Mañas, and Sophia Lorraine Estabaya.
Finishing strong in the Building and Construction Category is Chua claiming Gold award.
Architectural and Planning Studies Category competitors secure numerous awards after Matienzo brings home a Silver. While Mañas and Estabaya complete the roster of awardees bagging Bronze.
Mapúan representatives also expressed their gratitude to their adviser Arch. Anna Christina Ealdama with the supervision of Dean. Gloria B. Teodoro.
The event also took place as part of the 1st International Building Surveying Conference (IBSC) 2022.
