Sakura Science Exchange Program
As part of an ongoing collaborative research project between the Okayama University of Science (OUS) and Mapúa University (MU), a group of architecture students and faculty members visited Japan through the Sakura Science Exchange Program last December 18-24, 2022. There were lectures, discussions, and visits to historical locations in Okayama Prefecture. In a field survey participants experienced an actual measurement survey of a traditional Japanese house. Aside from acquiring new knowledge, our architecture participants got acquainted with the local culture and its community, making this program a fruitful one!
